Overview
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death globally. Response time is critical for survival. The HeartSine samaritan® PAD 350P was designed especially for use in public areas by providing a sophisticated defibrillator for adult or pediatric use, inside a lightweight and easy-to-operate system. Its advanced technology is balanced against the demands of real world use.
The 350P uses HeartSine’s practical Pad-Pak™, which incorporates the battery and electrodes in a single-use cartridge – meaning only one expiration date to monitor and only one item to replace after use. The 350P is suitable for use on adults and children. For children younger than 8 years or weighing less than 25 kg, a Pediatric-Pak™ is available.
How It Works
The HeartSine samaritan PAD is an automated external defibrillator (AED) that analyzes the heart rhythm and delivers an electrical shock to victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in order to restore the heart to normal rhythm. This user-friendly AED provides easy to follow visual and audio prompts to guide the rescuer from pad application to shock delivery, if required.
Generally, two types of public access AED are available in Australia. Semi-Auto and Full-Auto
The difference is:
- Semi-Auto, when instructed, you have to push a button to deliver the shock (better for trained First Aiders)
- Full-Auto, when instructed, you stand clear and the device delivers the shock without you touching it (better for untrained First Aiders)

Returns
You have 7 days to notify us that you intend to return your purchase and provide
us with the reason for the return. Returns will not be accepted without a Return
Authorisation number issued by NSW First Aid. Notification can be by phone,
email or in person.
Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase and must be accompanied
by your Return Authorisation number.
We aim to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase and are willing to discuss
your concerns, no matter what they are or how they occurred. We do however,
reserve the right to refuse a refund for what we consider to be inappropriate
reasons.
Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received
your returned item. We will notify you on the status of your refund as soon
as possible.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be complete, unused and in the
same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.
If your refund is approved, we will initiate a refund using the same method
you used for payment. You will receive the credit within 7 days, depending on
your bank or card issuer’s policies.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning
your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the
cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
